Croque Monsieur

by Nikhil in

Just came back from a lovely trip to Europe w/ the Mrs. We had a nice long stay in Paris, France. Croque Monsieur is a popular dish served in Parisian cafes. Had not heard of the dish until this past trip and ordered it by chance. It is basically a crunchy ham sandwich with a lot of cheese. As soon as I came back home, I knew I had to try to make it myself.

And for reference purposes, this is how a croque monsieur looks like served in a cafe:

Goat Cheese Lemon Pasta with Kale

by Nikhil in

Decided to jump on the kale band wagon and see what all the fuss was about with this lovely pasta dish.

The Mrs. liked the lemon zing in the dish, I needed to keep the bottle of red pepper flakes close by :).
